Many people in today’s church want nothing to do with an afflicted person, but these are the very people that Jesus spent much of His earthly ministry with. Jesus himself has told us in scripture to ‘Go out quickly into the streets and the alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame’ (Luke 14:21). If the servants in that parable were obedient to go and and call these people into the ‘great banquet’, should they not also be called into the banquet today, which is the local church that preaches the Word of God so that they might be fed spiritual food?

During the concert we tell the one in two billion story of Hannah Rose Szymanski in word and film, and how it relates to the call on the church to assimilate the disabled into the local body of believers.
